Overview


Sudo Labs is looking for an analytically rigorous and detail-oriented Product Manager who is passionate about simplifying healthcare and excited to work cross functionality to tackle a variety of product and data initiatives. Our mission is to power digital transformation for healthcare practices. We strive to be an all-in-one solution for virtual practices to start, run, and grow a practice. You will work with engineers, designers, and data scientists to help design, build, scale, and provide ongoing support for healthcare startups focused on building automation and integration to service virtual practices. You will be responsible for supporting and making high quality decisions for the digital healthcare product by flexing across the different teams we work with to analyze product trends, support GTM efforts related to our different startups, and scope solutions to complex problems for our different healthcare startups.


The initial goal is to help build a portion of the product strategy around our virtual practice operating system. At the core of our technology stack is a power data and automation platform that makes building digital health care application easy. It allows healthcare providers (clinicians) a way to easily boot up a new practice in a matter of minutes to start to acquire and provide care for patients immediately.

Digital health companies have infrastructure needs in the following areas :

  • Front office administration: scheduling, registration, payments and e-commerce, customer engagement

  • Care delivery services: clinical operations, virtual consults, ancillary services (e.g. labs, pharmacy)

  • Back office administration: revenue cycle, credentialing, supply chain management

    Our solution takes away the heavy lifting of :

  • Technology / platform selection

  • Systems integration which are complex and hard to maintain

  • Complex operations digital which are normally very manual

Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of our partners’ business strategy to develop product strategies and roadmaps

  • Define key metrics and outcomes, translating them into qualitative objectives and quantitative goals

  • Work with key stakeholders in product management, engineering, design, and business teams to deliver against strategy for engaging and retaining customers

  • Being able to think outside the box and propose new product features and validate them using customer research

  • Help make key decisions on product feature prioritization and clearly articulate the thought process behind the prioritization / order of execution

  • Create PRDs for features / iterations of the product

  • Organize a small team of engineers and a designer

  • Interface with Sudo’s partners to gather requirements, present progress, and obtain

    feedback

  • Liaise with Sudo’s product leadership to provide structured status updates

  • Conduct user interviews and present findings

Product Manager

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of product management experience related to SaaS, EHR, CRMs, or online web-based platforms

  • Experience in healthcare, HIPAA compliance / regulation, or similar preferred

  • Strategic thinking and business mindset — this opportunity has a high ceiling for

    growth, there is no “heads down and close tickets” mindset here

  • Highly organized and ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

  • Strong analytical rigor, innovative mindset, self-driven, and collaborative

  • Ability to work asynchronously across time zones, and synchronously when needed

  • Understanding or ability to learn industry specific best practices, terminology,

    norms, and user expectations for the healthcare industry
